Important Notice

Solva is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Electronic Arts Inc. "EA SPORTS FC", "EA", "EA SPORTS", and "Ultimate Team" are trademarks or registered trademarks of Electronic Arts Inc. This privacy policy applies only to Solva's independent third-party service.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Solva! We're a small team passionate about helping Ultimate Team players get the most out of Squad Building Challenges. We care about your privacy and want to be upfront about how we handle your data.

This policy explains what information we collect and why. We've tried to keep it straightforward and jargon-free.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email Address: So you can log in and we can reach you if needed
  • Password: Stored securely using industry-standard encryption (bcrypt) - we never see or store your actual password
  • Subscription Status: Whether you're on Free or Premium

2.2 EA Sports FC Club Data

When you use our Chrome extension to sync your club, we store:

  • Your Players: Names, ratings, positions, and whether they're tradeable - so we can find the best SBC solutions for you
  • Club Info: Your club name and player count
  • EA Persona ID: A unique identifier for your EA account - this helps us keep track of which club belongs to which account (you can link multiple EA accounts to one Solva account)

How it works: We never see or store your EA login credentials. The extension reads your club data directly from your browser when you're logged into the EA Web App - we just receive the player information, nothing else.

2.3 Usage Data

Basic info about how you use the service:

  • Solver Usage: How many SBC solutions you've generated and your credit balance
  • Error Logs: If something goes wrong, we log technical details to help us fix bugs (no personal data)

2.4 Payment Information

If you subscribe to Premium, payments are handled by Stripe - a trusted payment processor used by millions of businesses. We only store:

  • A reference ID that links your Solva account to Stripe
  • Your subscription status (active, canceled, etc.)

Your card details are safe: We never see or store your credit card number, CVV, or billing address. Stripe handles all of that directly.

2.5 Technical Data

Standard stuff to keep the service running smoothly:

  • IP Address: Used for rate limiting to prevent abuse
  • Browser Info: Basic details to ensure compatibility with our extension

3. How We Use Your Information

Pretty simple - we use your data to make the service work:

  • Your email and password - to let you log in
  • Your club data - to find optimal SBC solutions using your actual players
  • Payment info - to process Premium subscriptions (via Stripe)
  • Error logs - to fix bugs and improve the service

What We Don't Do:

  • Sell your data to anyone
  • Share your data with advertisers
  • Send you marketing emails (unless you opt in)
  • Track you across other websites
  • Access your EA login credentials

4. Data Storage and Security

We take security seriously. Here's how we protect your data:

Where Your Data Lives

Our servers are hosted on Google Cloud Platform in the United States. Payments go through Stripe's secure infrastructure.

How We Keep It Safe

  • All connections are encrypted (HTTPS)
  • Passwords are hashed using industry-standard encryption
  • Our database is in a private network with no public access
  • We use secure authentication tokens that expire

How Long We Keep It

  • Active accounts: We keep your data as long as you're using Solva
  • Deleted accounts: Your data is removed within 30 days
  • Payment records: Kept for 7 years (required by law for tax purposes)

5. Third-Party Services

We use a couple of trusted services to run Solva:
